here's what happened. a /tv/ thread posted august 28th opens mid-monologue: "i have ideas. you know what? i have GOOD ideas. in fact, i used to carry around a pencil and a pad just to keep track. direct marketing. i thought of that. turned out it already existed, but i arrived at it independently."

no name. no context. just a man, a pad, and a pencil, and the quiet confidence of someone who has almost certainly listed three separate high-iq societies in a single breath before. the thread drops right into the same /tv/ window that has been running burt-adjacent discourse for weeks now. independently arrived at, allegedly. the lore grows.

anyway. mensa has not responded to any of this.
