Bam Margera Is Appearing in a Rob Zombie Cover Music Video and the Timeline Keeps Moving

Deathcore outfit Signs of the Swarm, according to a report published August 21 by theprp.com, is shooting a guest-filled music video for their cover of Rob Zombie's "Dragula" -- and Bam Margera is among the names confirmed to appear in it.

To understand why this matters, one must return, briefly, to March 10, 2026, when it was announced that Margera would host Season 5 of Fishtank -- the first season in the show's history not anchored by Sam Hyde. That announcement repositioned Margera not as a legacy act coasting on nostalgia, but as an active presence in a content ecosystem that tends to chew through personalities fast. The Dragula video is, in its own strange way, consistent with that repositioning.

"Dragula" is not a neutral choice of cover song. The original Rob Zombie track has been woven into extreme-sports culture since 1998, when it appeared over the closing credits of a certain very famous skateboarding video. Its cultural DNA runs through the same veins as Margera's entire public identity. Signs of the Swarm -- a Pittsburgh-based act operating well outside mainstream visibility -- picking Bam for this specific video is less a random booking and more a deliberate piece of iconography. Whether Margera's people recognized that or whether he just said yes because it sounded fun is unknown. Both are equally plausible.
