the report did not indicate which district, what platform, or how far the consideration actually went. it was described as a consideration. allegedly. per the reporting.
but the timing here is worth sitting with. this was january 2026. by may she was on the euphoria set allegedly improvising lines. by june 1st she had a signature dish at benihana. the congressional arc, if it ever truly existed, appears to have been quietly replaced by several other arcs in rapid succession.
this is not unprecedented trisha behavior. the lore has always moved faster than any single institution can process. celebrity big brother couldn't hold her in 2017. frenemies couldn't hold her in 2021. it would be genuinely surprising if the united states congress was going to be the thing that finally stuck.
