there is a second relationship in this drama that nobody has fully explained yet

you know the streamer. you know the drama. but somewhere in the lore there is a second relationship that keeps coming up, and the shape of it is strange enough that people are stopping mid-thread to ask: wait, what exactly is this.

one person is the mentor figure. one is the protege. allegedly. per a times of india deep-dive published this week, the kai cenat and rakai dynamic has fans actively confused, with the piece suggesting there is a "real story" behind their unusual arrangement that goes beyond whatever has been visible on stream. the piece does not allege wrongdoing. it just asks the question, in the way that asking a question can be its own statement.

this is the part of the arc where the supporting characters start getting their own wikipedia sections. kai cenat and rakai's situation has apparently been sitting in the background this whole time, waiting for someone to point at it.

anyway. the mentor never sees it coming.
