picture it: a famously unbothered content creator sits down for what she is told is a cozy, no-stakes conversation. the interviewer, a recognizable face from a beloved workplace comedy, allegedly assures her the vibe is safe. it is not safe. it is the opposite of safe.

per a huffpost piece from october 2024 that has apparently decided now is its moment, people online rallied to defend her after the interview drew a pile-on she didn't entirely deserve. the clip, per accounts at the time, showed a dynamic that read less 'safe space' and more 'got you on camera.' that interviewer was rainn wilson. that blonde was trisha paytas. chat, this lore predates the benihana era, the euphoria cameo, and the baby named aquaman, and it is still out here demanding attention.
