kai cenat just expanded the roster of people he's mad at and it now includes most of twitch
it started with reggie. then it was rakai. now kai is pointing at plaqueboymax, yourrage, brucedroppemoff, silky, raud, tbvnks, and jasontheween. chat, this is no longer a beef. this is a bracket.
the reggie situation was already complicated enough. then on october 1st, per a thread on r/djakademiks, kai cenat went further and started naming names beyond the original dispute.
the receipts, as best as can be assembled from the signal:
- the akademiks appearance. according to the reddit thread, kai singled out plaqueboymax and jasontheween specifically, calling them 'fake' for going on stream with dj akademiks while the reggie drama was live. the framing, per the post, was that choosing akademiks's platform during this moment was a statement. kai allegedly took it as one.
- the bozo list. the same thread claims kai also called out yourrage, brucedroppemoff, silky, raud, and tbvnks for going live to react to the situation, grouping them under the label 'bozos.' no clip has been independently verified by mafkr, but the thread has significant engagement and multiple users corroborate the callout.
- the tylil reference. kai allegedly told jasontheween 'i hope tylil slaps you again,' per the thread title. this is a reference to existing lore between jasontheween and tylil. kai is apparently comfortable reaching into the historical record for this one.
- the nba youngboy claim. separately, hindustan times reports that reggie has allegedly made a claim that nba youngboy was 'banned' from kai's orbit, framing it as part of a broader pattern of kai controlling who his circle associates with. this allegation has not been verified and mafkr has not seen the underlying clip or post.
- the code of silence theory. an r/livestreamfail thread posted october 2nd argues that smaller streamers in kai's circle cannot speak out because of implicit consequences. the post acknowledges reggie's motivations appear mixed, per reggie's own admissions, but argues the structural critique is separate from whether reggie is a reliable narrator. the thread does not constitute evidence of anything, but it captures where the discourse is landing.
what's notable is the shape of it. kai's response started as a legal threat against reggie specifically. it has apparently expanded into a general indictment of streamers who engaged with the drama in ways kai didn't sanction, including people who were not directly involved in the original allegations.
jasontheween was already noted in our timeline for deleting kai and reggie reaction videos. his appearance on akademiks, per the thread, apparently crossed a second line.
brucedroppemoff reconciled with kai earlier this arc. his presence on the bozo list, if accurate, is a notable data point.
anyway. akademiks remains unbothered and almost certainly has the clip.
