James Charles's Google News Feed Has Now Indexed Adult Spam. The Attribution Goes to a Data Center Company.

On October 29, the Google News feed algorithmically associated with YouTuber James Charles indexed an entry headlined "xXx-videos! James Charles Original Clip Full SEX VIDEOS ON," with the aggregation layer attributing the result to Vantage Data Centers, a legitimate enterprise data infrastructure company. The entry listed xHamster and XNXX.COM as source platforms. It appeared in the same feed that, on the same day, surfaced the 2026 obituary of James Mullins of Wapakoneta, Ohio, published in the Wapakoneta Daily News through Legacy.com. James Mullins of Wapakoneta, Ohio does not appear, by any documented measure, to have had a professional relationship with the YouTube creator.

The adult spam entry is the second of its kind in 25 days. On October 5, a separate explicit spam result attributed to Clarin.com was indexed in the same feed. The October 29 result differs in that its listed publisher, Vantage Data Centers, is a well-documented real company with facilities across North America and Europe. Whether Vantage Data Centers actually published the content, or whether the company's domain appeared in some intermediary layer that Google's crawler registered as the source, has not been established. Vantage Data Centers has made no public comment on the matter.

For the record, the feed's aggregation behavior over the past two weeks now includes: a jewellery fraud conviction article from The Daily Dazzling Dawn, surfaced October 18, republishing a UK investor fraud story with no apparent connection to the creator; the Vantage Data Centers adult spam entry, October 29; and the James Mullins obituary, also October 29. This follows a longer run that has included, at various points, an Australian crime dispatch, a Charles Barkley quote about LeBron James, a 2012 obituary carrying a 14-year indexing lag, and a Morphe palette link sourced from a website registered in Iran.

The October 29 adult spam entry arrived three weeks after the Clarin.com instance, suggesting whatever filtering process governs the feed did not close the relevant gap after the first occurrence. What signal in the content caused Google's relevance model to route the Vantage Data Centers entry into a feed nominally tracking a beauty creator has not been documented. James Charles has not addressed any of the feed's aggregation behavior publicly. Google has not commented.

What happens next: Whether the October 29 adult spam entry has since been removed from the feed, and when, has not been confirmed. Whether Vantage Data Centers' domain was the actual point of publication or an artifact of Google's crawl attribution remains unresolved. The Mullins obituary has not been explained. And the question of what the feed will index next remains, by available evidence, genuinely open.
