a certain college tour is leaving a paper trail and the papers keep showing up

somewhere in central pennsylvania, a crowd of college students stood in a bar with their phones in the air. this is not unusual behavior in 2026. what is slightly unusual is that the school newspaper sent a photographer.

the daily collegian, penn state's student paper, caught the moment: fans, phones aloft, documenting whatever this is we're all watching unfold. per the image that surfaced, attendance was not a problem. the kids showed up. they always show up. chat, this is now a documented phenomenon at multiple campuses across the eastern seaboard and beyond, each stop generating its own local news cycle, its own yik yak thread, its own slightly concerned editorial.

and the tour does not stop. next confirmed destination is conway, south carolina. coop bar and grill. per wpde. the man accused of a fort lauderdale brawl, a canceled clemson stop, and allegedly some miami drama is now heading deeper south with the phones still raised behind him.
