The response to Summit1G's public disrespect complaint is, in effect, that there was never anything to give.

What xQc actually said. According to a clip reviewed by this publication and a corresponding Dexerto report, xQc stated he has "no power" over which streamers receive priority or invites on NoPixel, adding: "I can't give or remove prio, that's by design, I asked not to be given admin powers off the rip." The framing is that he anticipated the conflict of interest and pre-emptively removed himself from that chain of command.

Why this matters to the Summit situation. Summit1G said publicly on September 17 that he feels disrespected by both xQc and server head Koil. xQc's answer, at least to his half of that complaint, is that he structurally cannot be the person Summit should be upset with. Whether Summit finds that satisfying is, at the moment, unknown. Summit has not responded to this specific claim as of publication.

What we don't know. It is not clear how co-ownership of NoPixel is actually structured, what decisions xQc does participate in if not invite or prio management, or whether the "by design" arrangement is documented anywhere beyond xQc's own account. Sources who requested anonymity because the group chat is private have not clarified the governance terms.

The other thing that happened. Separately, and with considerably less geopolitical weight: three-time WSOP champion Doug Polk apparently trolled xQc over his poker outfit, according to a clip that surfaced on r/LivestreamFail on September 17. This is adjacent to the $500,000 ClubWPT tournament Emiru announced for September 15. A professional poker player commenting on a streamer's fashion choices is, historically, not where these stories end.

What comes next. The NoPixel drama has now produced a co-owner publicly disclaiming operational authority over his own server. Whether that defuses Summit's grievance or simply relocates it toward Koil is a question the coming days will answer, whether anyone wants them to or not.
