Tom Tiffany has absolutely no business throwing this particular stone.

Darlings, the Milwaukee Courier dropped a detail today that deserves its own framed print above the Wisconsin GOP's mantelpiece: Representative Tom Tiffany, who has spent recent days publicly flogging Francesca Hong for her appearance on Hasan Piker's stream, allegedly appeared on a podcast himself hosted by someone who made antisemitic remarks. Per the Courier's reporting, that is what happened. That is the situation.

The audacity of the construction here is genuinely impressive. You spend a news cycle demanding accountability for a Democratic state legislator's streaming choices, and then a local outlet pulls your receipts and they are not great receipts.

And if this feels familiar, it's because the entire Hong-Piker story has run on selective memory from day one. Fox News ran the "Wisconsin Has Regrets" angle hard when Hong tried to distance herself. Scott Jennings wanted litigation. The Wisconsin State Journal op-ed page decided Hong was "not ready." All of it premised on the idea that appearing adjacent to Piker is a disqualifying moral event. Fine. Hold that position. But then hold it symmetrically, or do not hold it at all.

Consistency, darling, that is not a lot to ask.

What Tiffany's maneuver actually accomplished, per the Courier's framing, is handing Hong a clean response she did not have to write herself. She got dunked on for two weeks and a regional newspaper just did the work. We love when that happens.

The broader lesson here is that "who you platform" arguments almost always detonate in the hands of the person throwing them, because everyone has a podcast in their past and nobody's guest list is spotless. Piker, for his part, has not weighed in on Tiffany specifically, because he has had approximately fourteen other fires this week alone, including a subpoena and a Daily Wire operative exclusive, so his attention is elsewhere.
