The Lawsuit Is Still Ticking and Destiny Is Still on Panels, Darling

A 'Doe v. Steven Bonnell' update quietly surfaced on an open class actions tracker while the man himself was booking more speaking gigs. The audacity of the schedule.

Steven Bonnell keeps adding dates to the tour while the legal calendar fills up too.

Darlings, a "Doe v. Steven Bonnell" lawsuit update appeared on openclassactions.com back in early June, and it has been sitting there, quietly, while Destiny has since appeared on the LibCon2026 panel circuit, landed a spot at Pangburn's Symposium I, and collected enough controversy to stock a small archive. Busy man.

The lawsuit listing is sparse on specifics, per the tracker itself, and we are not in the business of speculating about active legal matters. What we are in the business of is noting the timeline. June brings a court filing update. October brings a revenge porn allegation he denies. November, presumably, brings another panel invitation.

And if this feels familiar, it's because the April 2026 LawFold legal breakdown already flagged that Bonnell's name and litigation have a recurring relationship. A pattern is not a verdict, but it is a data point worth keeping receipts on.

The LibCon2026 appearance in August, per The UnPopulist's coverage, had Destiny on a panel asking whether Gen Z is more radical than older generations. A reasonable question. One might also ask whether a man fielding lawsuit updates and harassment allegations is the ideal voice to anchor a symposium on radicalism, but presumably the panel organizers made their peace with the optics.

We wish him strength in this trying time of his own scheduling.

My loves, the real tell here is not any single allegation or any single lawsuit update. It is that the infrastructure of Destiny's public life, the panels, the debates, the speaking slots, continues to expand in direct proportion to the controversies. Either the bookers do not Google or they simply do not care. At this point, honestly, it might be both.

The Pangburn symposium is still on the calendar. The lawsuit update is still on the tracker. Someone is going to have to blink first.
