SuperTF Called Asmongold Racist on Stream. Chat Helped.
The OWL veteran had already weighed in on the DM leak two days earlier. On July 13 he went further, according to clips circulating on r/LivestreamFail.
The word landed on July 13. SuperTF, the Overwatch League veteran who had entered the Asmongold-Mizkif discourse two days prior over a Discord DM leak, went a step further on stream and called Asmongold racist, according to two separate clips submitted to r/LivestreamFail on Sunday. One submission was titled "SuperTF Calls Asmongold A Racist." A second, posted within hours, was titled "supertf gets bullied by chat into calling asmongold racist." The two framings sit in direct tension with each other and neither clip has been independently verified by MAFKR at time of publication.
The distinction matters. Whether SuperTF arrived at the characterization on his own or was pressured into it by his audience is the central dispute in the thread, according to the submission titles. The clips themselves have not been formally timestamped in a Twitch VOD at time of publication, but both r/LivestreamFail posts carry a July 13 date.
For the record, SuperTF's prior involvement in this story was limited to publicly weighing in on Mizkif's DM leak on July 11, a development MAFKR covered separately. At that point he had not, based on available public statements, applied a specific label to Asmongold. That changed, at minimum according to the clip titles now circulating, on July 13.
The context surrounding that label is three weeks of accumulating signal. Media Matters published a report on July 10 connecting Asmongold to a "radicalize people" quote and immigration rhetoric. xQc said the same day that N-word allegations against Asmongold did not surprise him. On July 12, Asmongold posted what he described as receipts arguing the N-word clip was a censorship demonstration and separately stated he believes a person named "Jason" was the one who actually said it. None of those claims have been independently confirmed.
Into that backdrop, a streamer with a competitive gaming profile rather than a political commentary one has now, apparently, attached a word that the previous week's participants had largely danced around.
Separately, and with no apparent connection to any of the above, Dexerto reported on July 13 that Asmongold announced his house has been roach-free for nearly a year following major home renovations. Asmongold's living conditions have been a recurring topic of audience commentary for years. He did not, based on the Dexerto report, address any of the ongoing allegations in the same statement.
What happens next: Whether SuperTF clarifies or walks back his characterization remains open. Asmongold has not, as of July 13, responded publicly to SuperTF's stream comments. The Mizkif defamation case against Emiru, from which Asmongold was dismissed by a judge on July 7, continues. Asmongold's July 12 claim that "Jason" said the N-word has not been substantiated by named corroboration.
