On September 12, a post on r/LivestreamFail surfaced what appear to be messages from Sykkuno to Valkyrae, submitted by user u/Status_Lie_4761, showing him apologizing for the discomfort of their initial on-stream encounter. For the record, Valkyrae is the same person whose deleted comment on an allegation-related post was documented by this outlet in July. The thread exists. The screencap is there. Whether a private apology changes anything about the broader situation remains, as of September 15, entirely open.
