Silky Calls Asmongold a 'Racist,' Cites Emiru DMs. Caroline Kwan Says He's Audience Captured. Wednesday Was a Day.

Silky, a streamer, went on record on September 24 with a direct accusation. In a clip circulated on the LivestreamFail subreddit, Silky stated, according to the post, "This n-word is a f***ing racist," and added that he did not care whether Asmongold came after him. The Emiru DM claim is the specific thing. Silky did not describe the messages in detail in the circulated clip, but he characterized them as sufficient evidence. That was one front. On a separate front the same day, NDTV Sports reported that Caroline Kwan, a former Twitch vice president, had stated that Asmongold exhibits audience capture. Asmongold responded. According to NDTV's coverage, his response was: "You'd be in the corner crying." The exchange extended a week in which Asmongold has been publicly challenged by Cinna, criticized in national press, and placed at the center of a World of Warcraft guild dispute that has now attracted third-party coverage from 404 Media.

The 404 Media story, also published September 24, reported on a World of Warcraft: Forever mod built specifically to block all interactions with Asmongold's fans inside the game. The mod's existence is a downstream consequence of the Olympus guild controversy that surfaced publicly on September 22. Also on September 24, a LivestreamFail thread surfaced a clip in which Asmongold described his approach to sharing information. The Cinna thread has also not fully closed. NDTV Sports reported September 24 that Asmongold had accused Cinna of hypocrisy for using the R-word, calling her "two-faced and fake."
