N3on Said Sorry to Penta. Now He's Blaming the Staff. That Is Not a Denial.
A month after going on record with an apology, the Kick streamer has a new theory about the Fanatics Fest mask incident, and we have the receipts laid out in order.
N3on spent the better part of a month publicly saying sorry to Penta for the mask filming incident at Fanatics Fest. Now, per Fightful, 411Mania, and AOL all reporting on August 19, the position has quietly shifted: it was actually Fanatics Fest staff who put him in that situation. He had, allegedly, no bad intention whatsoever.
Darlings, let us get into what is actually documented here, because there are several distinct layers.
- The apology, on record. Per the known timeline, N3on stated on July 20 that he had apologized to Penta directly over the mask filming incident. That was public. That happened. Screenshot it if you have not already.
- The industry fallout that followed. WWE was reportedly "a little hot" with N3on backstage by July 21. Jonathan Coachman went on record placing blame on WWE itself for the situation (July 22). By July 23, a separate report had raised the question of Penta potentially pursuing legal action over the unmasked photo. A whole ecosystem of consequences, in other words.
- The staff-blame pivot, August 19. Per Fightful and 411Mania, N3on has now stated that Fanatics Fest personnel bear responsibility for how the situation unfolded, adding the phrase "I had no bad intention" for the record. AOL ran the same framing the same day. Three outlets, one new position.
- Separately, the Newman situation, which exists. A clip submitted to r/LivestreamFail on August 19 allegedly shows Julian Newman asking N3on on stream whether he had a certain private reaction to his sister Jaden Newman's leaked videos, while their father laughed along, per the submission. HotNewHipHop reported the same day that the Newman patriarch also allegedly suggested, on stream, a threesome arrangement involving N3on and Camryn LaVine. A journey. We wish everyone involved the clarity they require.
To be precise about the Penta situation: "I had no bad intention" is not the same sentence as "I did not do it." Per the coverage, N3on is not disputing the filming occurred. He is disputing whose fault it is that he was in that room with a camera. Darling, that is not a denial.
And if this feels familiar, it is because N3on has been in several situations this summer where the initial posture was contrition and the follow-up posture was considerably more complicated. The golf cart incident in Toronto generated a Times of India explainer. The Chromazz walkout had context. There is always context.
The Jack.com deal is signed, per PR Newswire on August 19. The UFC 331 walkout song is allegedly paid for. The brand era is very much open for business. It would be a shame if the Penta situation picked up new momentum right at the sponsorship peak.
My loves, keep your receipts organized. Someone's lawyers certainly are.
