The Week and Yahoo both ran the same headline on September 8th: "Hasan Piker: An albatross for El-Sayed." Fair. Accurate, even. But here is the thing about albatrosses that the political press keeps forgetting: the sailor already killed it. You do not get to hang it around someone's neck and then act surprised when the ship starts going sideways.

Irrelevant distractions do not do that.
