Hasan Piker and Asmongold Are Fighting About a Firing Squad Now. Sure.
The two streamers clashed over the planned execution of Nidal Malik Hasan, and somehow this is a normal Tuesday in 2026.
These two cannot stop finding new things to argue about.
Darlings, per a Times of India report out today, HasanAbi and Asmongold have clashed again, this time over the planned firing squad execution of Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter. Hasan apparently called the method of execution "gross" and "barbaric." Asmongold, per the clip, was not moved by that framing.
And if this feels familiar, it's because it is. These two were already going at it last cycle, and MAFKR covered the prior round of beef when it involved Australian visa drama and Navy SEAL opinions. Growth.
Here is the thing though. The audacity of this moment is not really about the two streamers. It is about what this argument represents. Hasan has spent the last week doing a NYU campus speech, per a clip making rounds on LivestreamFail as of today, absorbing a Fox News double-feature profile package asking "what does he really believe" and "inside his radical views" in the same news cycle, and getting covered by Le Monde in France as someone who is "seducing America's radical left." Le Monde. France. The paper that covered Napoleon.
So when he and Asmongold fight about capital punishment on stream, it is not just two guys yelling. It is a man who is now an international press subject, a Fox News recurring character, and a campus circuit regular, doing a debate segment about whether a firing squad is too barbaric. The range.
We should note that Hasan calling something barbaric is not exactly a policy position. It is a vibe. "It's gross, it's barbaric" is what you say when you do not want to construct an argument. Asmongold presumably had a counter-vibe. Neither of these men is on any relevant sentencing committee.
But the clip exists, the takes are circulating, and Fox News has already filed two profiles this week explaining what Hasan Piker really believes deep down in his soul. We look forward to seeing whether the firing squad comments make the third installment.
Keep receipts, my loves. At this rate Le Monde will have a correspondent in the Twitch chat by November.
