A top Democratic operative, also per Yahoo, reportedly called him "deplorable" after having just finished touting the party's "big tent." The audacity of that pivot is genuinely something.

What just landed in Michigan. According to the New York Post and Yahoo, the father of 9/11 hero Todd Beamer has appeared in an ad for El-Sayed's GOP rival, specifically to condemn Piker's rhetoric and his ties to the campaign. That is a 9/11 family, on camera, in a Senate race ad. Whatever Piker dialed down, it did not dial down fast enough to stop that from happening.

What is happening on campuses. Cornell Hillel and Cornellians for Israel formally condemned Piker's invitation to speak at Sage Hall, per the Cornell Daily Sun. The College Fix reports broader condemnations from Jewish and pro-Israel student groups. Haaretz, notably, published a piece arguing that Jewish leaders who try to block him from campuses may be taking on more risk than they realize. So there is a real debate inside that community about the strategy, not just the streamer.
