Asmongold Says ICE Would Be His Dream Job. LSF Has Been Keeping a List.
Two new r/LivestreamFail threads, a Times of India piece, and a Mshale op-ed dropped within 72 hours of each other. Here is what is documented.
On September 3, 2026, an r/LivestreamFail thread submitted by /u/digitalpizza5 alleged that Asmongold, the Twitch streamer Zack, stated on stream that joining Immigration and Customs Enforcement would be a dream job. The thread went live the same day a separate submission, by /u/Jealous_Diamond_4321, claimed Asmongold had reacted to a compilation video of other streamers saying a racial slur, reportedly remarking on how he is, per the thread title, "one of the only ones who doesn't have a clip saying it." Both threads were active as of publication.
For the record, neither thread includes a full unedited clip with verified timestamps, and the statements attributed to Asmongold in each have not been independently confirmed beyond the submitted clips.
What is documented
Across the 72 hours preceding publication, the following items entered the record:
- On September 3, the ICE thread surfaced on r/LivestreamFail, attributing to Asmongold the claim that working for ICE would be a "dream job," per the clip submitted by /u/digitalpizza5.
- Also on September 3, a second r/LivestreamFail thread alleged Asmongold watched a compilation of streamers using a racial slur and commented on his own absence from it, per the clip submitted by /u/Jealous_Diamond_4321.
- On September 2, the Times of India published a piece reporting that Asmongold had expressed support for ad blockers on stream, despite having previously described ad blocking as "stealing" from creators. The outlet attributed both positions directly to Asmongold.
- On August 31, Mshale published a piece headlined "Exposing The Grift: Asmongold Doesn't Understand DEI And Affirmative Action," citing an American Idol segment. The piece did not quote Asmongold directly in the headline but framed his commentary as analytically flawed.
The ICE comment lands six days after the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism published a formal profile of Asmongold on August 26. It lands eleven days after his second Twitch ban in as many returns. The slur compilation thread follows an September 2 LSF post alleging Asmongold uses slurs for one group despite framing himself publicly around opposition to antisemitism, an angle this outlet covered in A Streamer Has Some Advice About Public Image. LSF Has Some Questions About That.
Asmongold had not posted a public response to either September 3 thread as of publication time.
What happens next
Open questions as of September 3, 2026: whether Asmongold addresses the ICE comment on stream or on his YouTube channel; whether the full unedited clip from either LSF thread surfaces with verifiable context; whether Twitch takes any action given the platform's prior bans; and whether the Times of India ad-blocker contradiction prompts any follow-up statement from Asmongold or OTK.
