Adin Ross Says He Was Offered Millions for His UFC Freedom 250 Tickets. So Why Did He Stay Home?
The streamer is now dropping financial details about his UFC seat situation, and the numbers are, as always, a journey.
Darlings, the UFC Freedom 250 saga has a new receipt attached to it.
Per a clip surfacing on MSN dated June 22, Adin Ross revealed that he was allegedly offered millions of dollars for his UFC Freedom 250 tickets before the event. This is the same event he very publicly distanced himself from back on June 12, citing what he called his "real reason" for skipping. A reason he kept conveniently vague, but sure.
What we know. According to the clip, Ross says the offer for his tickets reached into the millions. He did not stream the event. He did not attend. Someone, apparently, wanted those seats badly enough to write a very large check for them.
What that number connects to. Back in February, LowKickMMA reported on an alleged $6 million deal between Ross and Dana White tied to UFC access and promotion. If that figure is accurate, it would mean Ross was already sitting on a lucrative UFC arrangement before Freedom 250 even happened. Being offered millions on top of that for the tickets alone is, wella lot of zeros floating around one man's event calendar.
What we don't know. Whether he sold the tickets, kept them, or let them expire in a drawer. Whether the "millions" offer is one figure or a range Ross is rounding up for effect. And critically, what the actual falling-out with the UFC event was about, because "real reason" explained very little when he first said it.
What makes this odd. Ross told fans on June 21 he'd allegedly pay $250,000 out of pocket for early GTA VI access. A man spending like that does not walk away from a multi-million-dollar ticket payday unless something else is happening. Allegedly.
What it looks like. It looks like a story with the middle chapter missing. We have the setup (the alleged $6M Dana White deal in February), we have the ending (he skipped Freedom 250 in June), and now we have this new financial detail sitting awkwardly in between. Someone fill in the gap, my loves, because the audacity of leaving this half-told is genuinely impressive.
Prediction: he'll mention the millions again on stream in a flex context, and the original reason for skipping will quietly never be explained.
