A Very Large Streamer Just Said He Owes His Entire Career to One Man

Three names. One origin story. The quote is doing numbers on r/LivestreamFail.

Somewhere on Twitch, on September 1, a streamer with a very eventful August went on record with a take that is either generous, correct, or both: without one particular political-commentary figure, three of the platform's biggest names simply would not exist. "Reason why xQc and I also have a lot of respect for Destiny," he said, according to a clip flagged on r/LivestreamFail, "bc if it wasn't for Destiny, all 3 of us wouldn't exist." For the record, that is a direct quote, unedited, submitted by u/Lost-Meringue-7476 on September 1.

The streamer in question also found time, on the same day, to weigh in on Sneako allegedly attempting to purchase Twitter bots, remarking "This is not a good day for Sneako." The man has range. His name, if you have somehow missed the last three weeks of internet history, is Asmongold.

What happens next

Whether Destiny responds to the on-stream credit is pending. Whether Asmongold's assessment of the three-streamer origin story gains wider traction on LSF is pending. The "She Had to Go.." YouTube video published to Asmongold's channel on August 30 has not yet been characterized by any sourced reporting.
