The offer reportedly came through the Pangburn channel, which stages exactly these kinds of conversations, and apparently also included at least a million dollars dangled in front of science communicator Dave Farina for the same privilege. Per the clip, the money goes to Gaza whether the discourse is comfortable or not. So the question for the man turning it down becomes rather pointed: what, precisely, is the principled objection here? We wait.
