A Streamer Said Something. A Creator Empire May Not Want to Hear It.
Someone with a very large Kick following allegedly went on stream and said a very large YouTube operation has been cutting human VFX artists out of the equation. The clip circulated. People noticed.
There is a certain kind of allegation that lands differently when it comes from a fellow content creator rather than a journalist. It carries the texture of an insider tip. It moves faster. And when the person making it commands millions of concurrent viewers on his own stream, it does not stay contained to the feed for long.
According to posts reviewed by this publication, a prominent streamer with a well-documented habit of saying the quiet part loudly went live and alleged that a certain 500-million-subscriber operation has been deploying artificial intelligence to handle video editing work rather than compensating the human VFX artists who might otherwise hold those contracts. The clip, per sources on r/LivestreamFail who requested anonymity because the group chat is private, spread with some velocity. The creator in question is, of course, MrBeast. The streamer doing the alleging is xQc. No formal response, as of this writing, has been issued by either party.
